After taking a class in needle felting, I knew that I wanted to continue working with wool. It is soft and lends itself to creating many different shapes and sizes. Felt necklaces are one of my specialties. The many color combinations and light weight makes them fun to work with and wear. I like trying out different color combinations; many of them remind me of the vibrant colors you can find in nature. I enjoy traveling and nature, and both constantly inspire me to create something different.
I use Corriedale and Merino wool roving to create the necklace beads. The wool is sustainably and humanely farmed, and free of harmful chemicals, which is very important to me. Some of my larger beads have centers that are made with a 70% wool/ 30% mohair blend batting. The closure is very easy to use, and the beads are movable on the cord, so you can create the look that goes with your clothing.
All items are hand made (needle felted and wet felted) and come in an organza gift bag.
